look what we did this weekend!!

Our bedroom has been in need of an extreme makeover for a LOOOONNNGGG time. So when my company gave its employees a performance bonus we decided to take the extra money and NOT spend it on photography equipment (SHOCKING, I know!!) but instead give our room the upgrade it desperately needed.

Here are the results:

Before: Denim Blue walls, bad lighting and dingy carpet (that’s my hubby in the middle of the bed dreading the upcoming physical labor)

After: After: Painted walls “Provencal Cream,” changed the lightbulbs to halogen transparent bulbs, tore out yucky carpet and installed medium oak laminate flooring

NOW, we have to figure out how to get ALL this stuff back into the room. This project is NOT for the faint of heart. :-P
