Howdy!

Wow! Have I been MIA or what? I'm going to do my best to catch up so this is going to be a very long blog post full of pictures and slideshows. First, let me introduce Kelly and Carey's slideshow. Kelly, Carey and their families are some of the NICEST people we have ever worked with. (Don't I say that about most of my couples? :-P ) Patti, Kelly's mom e-mailed me the sweetest note yesterday,

"Janelle,

This is so much fun....seeing even more pictures! Thank you for all you are doing--I know it takes a long time to edit that many pictures! I can't tell you how many times I have looked at all the pictures and I love them even more each time I see them. THANK YOU!--Patti"

I can't tell you how wonderful that made me feel. Whenever I receive an thank you e-mail from the bride and groom or their parents it makes me want to work even harder to make their after-wedding experience perfect. :-)

Enjoy their slideshow!

Remember Rachel and Ben? Well, I FINALLY completed their album design. Almost immediately after returning from their honeymoon they moved to Boston. Talk about a BUSY summer. They chose a flush-mount album that currently is not on my pricelist. I'm super-excited to order their album 'cause I plan to order one for myself.

Here's their album design:

Besides working on photography stuff, we've been spending alot of time at the dog park. Check out Layla and Buddy's antics:

Even Lizzie is starting to experiment with going deeper in the water:

We may have a swimming border collie! :-)

HMMMMMMMM. . . . . what next? oh yeah, Girls's Night!

Last Friday, I hosted a Girl's night with a few of my friends. We had a great time eating, drinking wine and talking about anything and everything.

Don't we make cute parents? Sadly, she doesn't belong to us. The baby is Nhi's Miss Chloe. (below)

Girl's night wouldn't be complete without my photo buddies Tenille and Ailynne! Doesn't Ailynne look great for someone suffering the side effects of early pregnancy? :-)

Vanessa and Jennifer

Last but not least, Lisa.

I had a great time ladies and can't wait to host the next one! Thank you so much for pitching in and bring all the extra food. :-)

What else? What else? I told you this post would be long. :-P

Oh yeah, we FINALLY organized our kitchen! This is one of my Hubby's favorite stories to tell. As many of you know, registering for wedding gifts is a rite of passage in preperation for one of the biggest days of your life. I had so much fun registering and our guests were VERY generous with us. Well, before we were married, I kept telling Hubby that the only gift I cared about was the Kitchen Aid mixer. I wanted that thing sooooooooooooooooo bad, I think I even told anyone who asked what I wanted (after I told them they didn't HAVE to get me anything) to give me gift cards so I could purchase it after the wedding. :-P Lo and behold, we came home from our honeymoon in French Polynesia to a Kitchen Aid mixer waiting for us. :-) The thing is, our kitchen is sooooooo small that I refused to take it out of the box until we had space. Not to mention the fact that I had registered for WAY TOO MUCH kitchen stuff that we had no where it.

So, life started, our kitchen remained unorganized and the Kitchen Aid Mixer remained in the box until early this evening, Sunday, September 16, 2007 - more than a year after we received it.

We ran out of cabinet and pantry space that we had been using our already too big for the room breakfast table.

The mixer in its box stuffed under the table.

After a trip to Ikea and spending an hour assembling the shelves we have this:

I had the shelves organized last night and the mixer remained in the box. :-P I guess old habits die hard. Well, earlier tonight, Hubby took matters into his own hands and I walked into the kitchen to find him:

It really is ALOT heaver than it looks! :-P

It's FINALLY out of the box!

I have so much more to write but my computer is starting to slow down. I'm trying to re-process Kirk and Erika's pictures while burning Kelly and Carey's images to CD and it must be taking a whole let of RAM.

More later! Have a great week!
